Winter in the Wineries 2019

December 1st is a very special day in Calistoga as it marks the beginning of the 2019-2020 Winter in the Wineries event. Now in its 10th year, this Winter focused adventure has helped in attracting new travelers to the area who wouldn’t traditionally visit Napa Valley during this time. “Winter time is obviously the slowest time of the year, but on the other hand, the weather is more likely than not, excellent if you don’t mind carrying  a jacket. The air is crisp, and you avoid the crowds, traffic and the high prices that the summer traditionally brings,” says Dawn Patel, Marketing and Partner Relations Manager at UpValley Inn. The savings definitely add up, with this year’s Passports providing over $400 in complimentary tasting at 16 different Calistoga wineries. Passport holders also get exclusive discounts from Calistoga’s eclectic restaurants making this program hugely popular. Passport holders are encouraged to share their Winter in the Wineries experiences on social media using the hashtag: #SOAKITALLIN.  To help celebrate the beginning of Winter in the Wineries, UpValley Inn is offering a Winter in the Wineries stay package including even more savings.
